Facility:
We have a 300,000 sq.ft. building with 25 cranes in 12 bays and 3 rail spurs. Our facility built
the Liberty Ships in WWII. It is ideal for high volume steel processing. We can handle your order
no matter how large.
Attitude:
We are the go to guys who will run 24/7 and do whatever it takes for our customers. Last Easter we
had a crew come in and fabricate 300 Rear Ramp stair sets for a Navistar emergency. They finished
on Easter and we loaded them onto a rented Falcon jet which delivered them to West Point Mississippi
the same day. It was that important to Navistar, so it became that important to us. We do whatever
it takes…
Family Owned:
A family owned business can be a key advantage when making important decisions. We can purchase
equipment, software and inventory as needed based on job requirements. All the owners work in the
company and understand that in order to meet today’s dynamic market requirements we have to move
fast. Most importantly we care about our customers!
Customer Owned Material:
Many larger customers choose to buy steel directly from the mill and have it processed separately.
We specialize in processing this customer owned material. We can receive, track and process your
material as if were our own.
Nesting:
We are experts in utilizing Sigmanest, the latest nesting software. We can often save you hundreds
of dollars per plate by obtaining better yields. We can even nest your parts before you buy the
plate. Non stock plate sizes are usually easy for the mill to run and can often increase yields
by 20% or more. Give it a try!
Engineering Support:
Our CAD department works with our customer’s engineering staff daily. We can accept almost every
format and version of CAD software. Just send us the files and we’ll make the parts.
One Stop Shop:
You can send Service Steel your drawings and have us do all the work. Whether it’s a simple laser
cut part or a complex welded and painted assembly with hundreds of subcomponents, we can produce
it and deliver on time.
Cutting Capacity - Lasers:
With 10 large, high-power plate lasers, we have significant laser processing capacity. Few
facilities in the nation have that many large lasers under one roof. We also have 5 axis beveling,
as well as pipe and tube laser cutting abilities.
Cutting Capacity – Plasma/Flame:
Our 8 Plasma/flame tables have the best High Definition cutting technology available. These machines
can cut thousands of tons per week. 5 axis beveling and integrated CNC machining make our machines
the standard to beat. In the northwest there are no equals.
Quality:
We pride ourselves on our quality. In 2008 we shipped more than 7 million parts with a defect rate of
less than 190 Parts Per Million. We are ISO-9001 compliant now and we are on track to be registered by
