CNC Machining

Service Steel has made a serious investment in machining equipment, the fastest growing area of our business. There are many vertical and horizontal CNC machine centers, including Mazak V-20D’s, and a Mighty Viper 60” x 120” with 50 tools and 35 HP.

There are 8 turning centers, several with automatic bar feeders; and 6 manual mills including a 50 HP Gray Planer Mill. We also have an excellent variety of measuring equipment. The Virtek laser scanner and high speed inspection system can scan 48” x 48” in a single pass and longer distances with multiple passes. Our Iota CMM is 39” x 39” x 78”.
